This E Type has undergone a complete restoration to a concours standard. The current owner is an avid collector and has imported classic cars from the United States for many years. Handicapped by health issues, he can only drive automatic cars with easy access. He selected this E Type as it has automatic transmission as well as easier access with its longer wheelbase and larger cabin.
He spent 60,000 euros on the restoration and improving the reliability of the car, it cannot afford to break down! The invoice file that accompanies the car is very detailed reflecting the thoroughness of the restoration. The body has been upgraded, treated with anti rust protection and painted in the lovely original colour of light blue. Fitted with the legendary 4.2 litre XK engine that has been the subject of an extensive rebuild, it is a remarkable driving experience.
The interior is superb, it has been retrimmed in the original colour of Dark Blue with Connolly leather. Fitted with air conditioning, which makes travel in all weathers enjoyable, it is remarkable from all points of view. In as close as possible to new condition, this remarkable 2+2 is perfect for either drives with the family or for a person with impaired mobility.
