Ebay item 6/25/09
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1971-Jaguar-XKE-Roadster-1-owner-50429-mil ...
Current bid $20,100 reserve not met, 8 bids 9 days left in auction. 50k miles.
Sellers description:
1971 Jaguar XKE Roadster. One lady owner from new. Always garaged. All books and records as well as the window sticker are present. The tools and top boot are present as is the tonneau cover. With the exception of 1 repaint this car is original. It runs and drives very well. The interior has a nice patina and is presentable as it is. The car is in need of a bare metal repaint. But has a nice honest look as it sits. This car has never been in any accidents. The car has a few bumps and bruises, but nothing major. The bonnet has been bumped in the nose lightly, please look at the pictures carefully as I have included bonnet gap images. There is NO rust. I have driven many XKE 's over the years and they have felt a bit loose and sloppy . This car drives very nicely with accurate steering and great brakes. The brakes were redone a few years ago and work perfectly. The transmission shifts very well, and the car still has the original clutch. The top is in very good condition. I have just performed a full fluid change, replaced the spark plugs, the airfilter, the resonators, and lt frt lower control arm bushing. The diff. is also nice smooth and silent. Chassis number P2R13719.
