I bought the E-Type in very original and very good condition, however, like many of these vehicles, the car had been stored and unused for a number of years (about seven).
I had the car upgraded and made into a reliable a perfect driving machine by changing the steering rack to a more responsive rack, replacing the auto transmission with a 5-Speed (E-Type fabs box) and installing an EFI system (looks similar to a late model 6.0). I also improved cooling with the addition of efficient cooling fans. The result is exceptional and makes for a reliable and efficient driving E-Type to which I added almost ten thousand miles in the last two years or so. All the parts that I removed are packaged safely, in boxes (hardly likely to ever be used again!.
