    Auction description:
    1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III V-12 Roadster
    Lot No. 2064
To be offered on Saturday, July 18, 2015
    Estimate: $100,000 - $125,000

Classic Showcase of Oceanside, California recently restored this Series III Roadster. During the restoration, they took the car apart, stripped and sealed the body, and completely repainted it from the metal up. All of the parts were carefully removed from the car, painted, and then reassembled. The interior was replaced with correct materials throughout and a powerful Alpine stereo system was added. Its striking Maroon paint is paired with a Biscuit interior with a black top. A Tec III Engine Management System was added during the restoration, giving this E-Type the performance that the model always should have had. Air conditioning, performance upgrades, and its comprehensive restoration make this the perfect E-Type for someone looking for a fun classic that will turn heads everywhere it goes.

This 1973 Jaguar Series III V12 Roadster is a great restored example that boasts a number of performance and comfort upgrades. It was professionally restored by marquee specialists, Classic Showcase of Oceanside, CA. It was taken apart, body stripped, they fit and worked the body, all parts were fit to the car in bare metal, and it was primered, sealed, painted base coat/clear coat, with all parts painted off the car individually. The fit and finish are excellent, with a brilliant paint job that has been wet sanded and buffed to bring out the deep luster. The master trimmers fit and installed a new interior in the proper materials. It is dazzling in a dark Maroon paired with a Biscuit interior, a Black top and biscuit boot cover, it also includes a Tonneau cover. This V12 model exudes excellent performance, handling, and power while giving the driver a non-typical smooth ride. In addition, this E-Type is equipped with performance upgrades including a Tec III Engine Management System, and an accompanying laptop computer for use in adjusting and tuning the roadster's engine, along with a 5-speed transmission. The Tec III system functions as an electronic brain that increases the power and performance of the engine, and really gives the roadster a significant kick where it counts! To complement your driving experience it has an Alpine stereo / CD player with a power amp and 6 speakers for your listening pleasure. It has been well maintained, recently serviced, was detailed inside and out, and simply begs to be driven and enjoyed!
