Private Party or Dealer: Dealer
This 1973 Jaguar XKE 2+2 coupe is finished in Sable over a beige leather interior and powered by a 5.3L V12 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The car has spent three years with the selling dealer, who has driven it approximately 1,700 miles as well as performing service including installation of a new aluminum radiator, brake and clutch hydraulics, rear shocks, belts, and spark plugs as well as carburetor rebuilds, a brake fluid flush, and an oil change. This E-Type is offered with records dating to the 1990s, spare body seals, and a clean Florida title.
The body is finished in Sable paint. The seller points out checking and crazing on the hood as well as loose trim around the windshield and backlight. The door weatherstripping has been replaced and spare rubber body seals are included in the sale.
Chrome knock-off wire wheels are fitted with 15″ Dunlop tires. New rear shocks have recently been installed, and the wheels have been balanced.
The cabin is trimmed in beige leather with a black dash. An aftermarket temperature gauge replaces the factory Smiths unit, which is included in the sale. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 40k miles.
The 5.3L V12 is mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox. Recent service included installation of a new aluminum radiator, hoses, thermostats, fan controller, voltage regulator, spark plugs, and belts along with rebuilds of the four Stromberg carburetors and an oil change.
The seller states that the clutch master and slave cylinders, brake master cylinder, and front brake hoses have been replaced and the brake fluid flushed in preparation for sale. The power steering rack has also been rebuilt.
