    Ebay item 11/2/14
    www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-2-2-Coupe-1973-jaguar-xke-2-2-v-12-series-iii-cou ...
Car has a buy it now price of $36,000 for 20 days.

    Sellers description:
    1973 Jaguar XKE 2+2 (Series 3)
    $36,000
    Three owner
    52,100 miles
No rust - Southwest US car its entire life
Fully updated, refreshed and ready for touring

This car started life in Dallas, TX with its first owner. It was purchased in 1991 by its second owner (also Dallas) and relocated to the Phoenix, AZ area in 2007. I purchased the vehicle from the second owner's collection in January 2012. The car was in excellent physical and visual condition. It had been stored indoors for its entire life, but had suffered from lack-of-use ... mechanical systems and rubber components required adjustment, tuning and/or replacement. This work has been performed as an ongoing, rolling restoration during the course of my ownership as I accumulated 2,600 miles. At this point in time, the car is a wonderful example that is ready for daily use and I am looking for another vehicle to satisfy my automotive passion.
Before getting to the list of work, I would like to point out some items that I find notable:

The car has been repainted once (original color) ... I suspect about 15 years ago. The paint is aging very well with no notable problems ... I would call it an 8.5 on a 10 point scale. Touch up paint is also included.
The interior leather condition is excellent. I suspect that it was replaced at some point, but I do not have documentation.
The car is truly rust-free ... even the panel joints within the bonnet and at the bottom of the doors are in truly excellent condition. Further supporting this fact is that in all the work listed below, all bolts came apart easily with hand tools ... even the exhaust.
I added the Minilite wheels (new and ordered from the UK). I personally like the look as they bring back memories of many race cars of the era. More surprisingly, the wheels significantly enhanced the ride quality and responsiveness as compared to the wire wheels that were on the car when I purchased it.
The exhaust system is a brand new, fully stainless-steel system.
The air conditioning system is brand new, converted to R134A, and works fantastically.
The car passes AZ emissions ... yes, AZ (Maricopa county) requires emissions testing for a 41 year old car.
Full binder of documentation dating to the mid 2000's

    Other Details:
Included are several boxes of serviceable parts that were replaced during the services above.
Included are two new (rebuilt) 4-piston front-calipers from a jaguar XJS. I understand that this is a near bolt-on upgrade, but have not investigated any further.
I have clear AZ title to the car
The car is garaged at my home in Mesa, AZ
