    Ebay item 5/18/09
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Jaguar-V12-series-3-coupe-very-low-miles-s ...
Opening bid $15,000 reserve not met, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
I have been around Jaguar e-type for many years and very seldom do I find one this nice. This V12 coupe has only 19,800 documented miles; rust and accident free body, superb body gaps and paint, great color combination of Regency red (burgundy) and original cinnamon leather interior. Air conditioner and automatic transmission.

The car has 19,800 documented original miles. The interior is mostly original and in very nice condition. The car was stripped to bare metal and given a superb paint job in its original Regency red color. New exterior rubber, including windshield and back glass were installed. The chrome, including the wire wheels, is in excellent condition. The car has zero rust and zero accidents! I have tried to capture the quality of this car with my camera and to be honest it is the type of car you really have to see for yourself to fully appreciate it. The engine compartment has never been molested; it even has the air pump still connected. If you like nice original cars, you will not be disappointed with this Jaguar. The prior owner installed a wood trim kit which consists of the area around the gauges and the gearbox shifter. I think the wood looks good but if you prefer the original vynil/plastic
for originality I would be glad to install those instead.

The car was shown at two Jaguar Clubs of North America sponsored concourses and it scored 9.865 and 9.900 in the driven class.

Mechanically the car runs great. Suspension feels tight, transmission shifts well and engine runs at normal temperature. Car was recently serviced with the following items:

    - 5 new tires
    - Cooling hoses replaced
    - Drive belts replaced
    - Brake system recently serviced, including new brake master, rebuilt brake servo, new flex hoses, new front caliper pistons.
    - Power steering rack and pump rebuilt by Coventry West
    - AC converted to 134a refrigerant
    - New exhaust
    - All gauges work, including clock

    The following items are included:
    o Jack in bag
o receipts back to the original owner
o photos of bare metal re-spray
    o owner’s manual
    o Jaguar warranty booklet
    o Shop manual
o CD-ROM with electronic version of the shop and parts manuals

This is not a trailer queen but I doubt you will find a finer driver V12 coupe anywhere. If you have been considering a V12 coupe, this is the one to get.

Opening bid US $45,000 reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Lenexa, Kansas.

    Sellers description:
This 1973 E-Type V-12 has only 22,500 original miles from new, over 42 years ago. It has has a professional $15,000 dollar respray in the authentic Regency Red It's a gorgeous car now sporting a new complete custom installed, by hand, interior, headliner, Carpet and seats, which took two artisans about 175 hours, note the tasteful update with the stitched leaping leopard but very true to original design. I do not believe you will find a better V-12 E-Ttype in existence for the money. This will not go cheap and it simply will not be sold unless the price is strong. This one is a driver enthusiast car- ready to enjoy. Buy the best sample and drive it--Buy a good one and take care of it. This one is looking for a new such home.

Opening bid US $36,500 reserve not met no bids 6 days left in auction, seller roadbeemer, 23k miles, same location.

    Sellers description:
This E Type V-12 is looking young at 43 years old. I sold a twin E-Type V-12 OTS and a Mark II Jaguar a few years ago. This is my last Jaguar and it needs a good home.

My E Type V-12 has 23,000 original miles. When not on the road it has been stored in a subterranean cave in Missouri with 60 degrees and 60% humidity ambient surroundings- year-round. (Google Innerspace in Missouri) This great example is now looking for a new custodian of history.

The car had a down to the metal professional respray in, just before I bought the car from an officer of the Atlanta Jaguar club, 19,000 miles on the ODO (about 4,000 miles ago). The respray was about $15,000 and as you can see is the attention grabbing original Regency Red. It is a gorgeous journeyman result. I just waxed it yesterday. The new interior and headliner is in Camel color. I think this is one of the cleanest V-12 E type on the market that I have seen come up for sale. Prices will likely only climb further. Equipped with chrome luster wire wheels great tread on tires, ready to drive and enjoy, show or driver. The purchase includes numerous books articles, portfolios, period articles and original ad material.

One of the few indulgences to modernity is a rocking Alpine Stereo (CD Bluetooth, AM FM, etc.) and Speakers, very professionally installed. The 6 X 9's are plug out removable and sit in the luggage area.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
