    Current bid $1,000, no reserve, 6 days left in auction.

    Sellers description:
    1st owner: 2 years 15,500mi.

    2nd owner: purchased car in 1975 owned for 31 years, stored since 1994

    I am the third owner and purchased it in 2007 with 46,000mi. After taking it out of storage, the following was done to make the car roadworthy and reliable:

    NEW
    * fuel tank and fuel pump
    * rear shocks and springs
    * front shocks and lower ball joints
    * radiator, expansion tank, water pump, fan relays and all hoses and belts
    * master brake cylinder
    * ignition amplifier,plugs, coil, cap, ballast resistor and voltage regulator
    * exhaust system

    This car is a very clean driver. It needs new tires (current tires are at least 25 yrs.old), a front-end alignment and some fine-tuning.

    It is a numbers matching car

    The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

    What disease did Lucas succumb to?
