Sellers description:
1973 Jaguar XKE Series 3 V-12 model 2+2, being sold by the ORIGINAL OWNER with only 15,000 pampered ORIGINAL MILES. 4 speed manual transmission, all numbers match, engine has never been out of the car, I purchased the car off the showroom floor at Bilsco Auto Service, 2301 Main St. Buffalo N.Y. 14214. Car has seen very little rain and no snow, driven on dry days only for the past 34 years. Always kept in a climate controlled environment, non smoker. Took original tires off last year to help preserve them, I have them in storage along with the original battery. The spare tire has never been out of the well. Includes jack, hammer, and special tool to remove the wheels. Color is signal red with a biscuit interior, Paint is 95% original (had scratches repaired car door was keyed) Car was never in a accident. The chrome is all original and close to perfect, interior original other than headliner, which was professionally replaced with the exact original material, Front leather drivers seat has very little wear, passenger seat is close to perfect (front seats covered with sheepskin covers), rear seat is perfect along with the rest of the interior , also has original exhaust system. Car includes the following options: Chrome wire wheels, white wall tires, tinted glass, air condtioning, heated back window. Standard equipment includes: V-12 engine, Lucas ignition system, 4-speed gearbox,power assisted steering, adjustable steering column, limited slip differential, radial ply tires, leather faced reclining seats, 4-wheel power assisted brakes, speedometer with trip odometer, clock, (which works),interior courtesy and map lights. I have the original window sticker, owners manual, all factory shop manuals, and dealer brochures. All factory decals are on the car, including the glass decals. Spare ignition key is mounted on the cowl (factory installed) door lock key is different than the ignition key. Plate on the cowl includes: Car No. UD1S74713, Body No. 4S56406, Engine No. 7S10852LB, Gear Box No. KL5367. If you want one of the best original XKE Jaguars, this is the one, the car has not been modified in any way. I am selling the car because I am semi retired and moving to Florida.
