PERFECT CAR TO RESTORE
UNMOLESTED RUNS EXCELLENT
You are looking at a RARE find auto that is perfect for an easy restoration. The car has been in storage for a few years and has been owned by the same person for the past 25 years. He believes he was the second owner. The previous owner told us that the car was featured in the 1995 Snap On tools calendar but didn't have a calendar to show us when we purchased the vehicle from him as a dealer. If anyone can prove or disprove this, please contact us so we can verify it. We did see some trophies that the car had won for being very original. The body on the car is in excellent condition with only one rust spot on the right rear fender. The rest of the body is rust free both top and bottom. The burgundy paint shines but is starting to come apart in all areas. Fading, clearcoat bubbles, scratch on the drivers door, ect. Bumpers are starting to show some bad spots. The rest of the chrome trim looks very good and is useable. The passenger window has been replaced with a plastic one but the rest of the glass is in decent condition. Some of the gaskets around the front and rear window are showing some dry rot but they don't leak. This car has never been in an accident or has any signs of any body parts being replaced. This car is a very original unmolested vintage car in all areas. The tan interior is original and needs to be replaced. The seats work fine back and forth. The dash is intact with only a couple of knobs missing and what looks like an after market stereo has been installed. The headliner is missing but the visors are intact. The trunk area all looks rust free but does need some trim work. The floor mats are original and they are shot. [Floors] have a couple of cracks in the front of them were a mechanic put this car on a lift in the wrong spot and damaged them slightly. No rust other than normal surface rust on any of the floors (also see underneith pictures). Please note that the pictures taken in the shade make the car look darker. As we told you earlier, the car had been sitting for a long time so when we purchased it we did not start it until we drained the gas and rebuilt the carbs. The car runs excellent and is a pleasure to drive. Clutch is good, brakes are good, trani shifts excellent, engine starts ASAP, and we replaced the starter. The chrome wheels are in great shape but I wouldn't trust the tires not because of tread but because of time sitting. We do have the books, shop manuals ect. Overall you are looking at a car that needs a mild restoration for its age and we have tried to explain the car as good as possible. We are a licensed dealer in the state of Florida.
