Description:
Clean '74, hideous bumperettes and all. Seller not the owner, estate sale, so buyer will have difficult time getting the story on the car. Been repainted. Final-year collectiblility syndrome. Good presentation with many photos, lacked documentation though. Winning bid on the low side for this car, but sold. (Chris Lydiksen)

1974 JAGUAR XKE CONVERTIBLE FLORIDA CAR 79K MILES LAST YEAR VERY DESIRABLE THIS IS AN ESTATE SALE AND NOT MY PERSONAL CAR. I HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR ABOUT 75 MILES AND EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE RIGHT, ENGINE TRANSMISSION, P/S A/C "ICE COLD" WIRE WHEELS ARE ALL IN NICE SHAPE AS ARE THE TIRES NEAR NEW. THIS APPEARS TO BE A RUST FREE CAR BUT THE CAR HAS BEEN REPAINTED SOME TIME IN ITS LIFE AND DONE VERY WELL. THE INTERIOR OF THIS CAR IS IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION WITH THE EXCEPTION OF NORMAL WARE FOR AGE AND MILES. CONVERTIBLE TOP IS NEW (CANVAS) WITH BOOT. THIS CAR IS A PLEASURE TO DRIVE WITH SMOOTH POWER TRANSFER TO AUTOMATIC TRANS WHICH IS A VERY RARE COMBO. ALL BRIGHT WORK IS EXCELLENT. ONLY MINOR SQUEAKS AND RATTLES FROM EXHAUST SYSTEM "KLUNK" GOING OVER R/R BRAKES, AND ALIKE. RADIO IS HORRIBLE AS ARE THE SPEAKERS.
