I purchased the car in Ipswich, UK while in the USAF stationed at RAF Alconbury. It was one of 8 new E types that the manufacturer could not ship to the US due to the Jan '74 pollution laws. It is registered in the UK as a 1975 (N reg.) I brought the car back to the US where it was first registered in Alabama in 1977. It has been registered in VA, NY, FL and NC usually with the vanity plate 1974 JAG. It is now registered as an "antique auto" with plate #63192
