EBay item 1/4/24
www.ebay.com/itm/386558076126
Opening bid $74,625, reserve not met 0 bids, 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $99,500, seller westcoastclassics, miles not reported

Seller's description:
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and very rare barn-fresh (garage really!) find of a virtually completely original in its original striking 'Silver' factory paint and with its all original classic 'Red' leather interior 1973 Jaguar XKE E-Type V12 Series III Roadster with original folding soft top, air conditioning, power steering, AM radio, and reportedly boasting low original miles !

A completely rust free example of this coveted penultimate year of the legendary E-Type Jaguar, still boasting the very desirable factory small chrome bumpers, before the ugly 1974 big rubbers, and with its original matching #'s V12 engine, its original and very desirable 4 speed manual transmission and with all of it's original factory specifications and options including original Red leather interior, AM radio, power steering and air conditioning!

This is a very rare factory 4 speed and air conditioned car and this beauty still boasts all five original chrome 'knock off' wire wheels and its original spare chrome wire wheel in the trunk and original convertible top.

Recently purchased from the car's long term owner and a car which was owned and stored for many years in his obviously climate controlled storage facility. The car's engine runs as smooth as silk and the 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the car drives exactly as it should with such low original miles.

The car has no rust whatsoever with the floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas completely original, solid and rust-free! The car has no signs of any accidents of any kind and has a razor straight body. The car looks extremely impressive in it's original color paint and the car still boasts it's original Red color leather interior with the door panels, dashboard, seats and carpets all in very fine condition. The original soft top is in great shape and the factory chrome wire wheels are also in beautiful condition and the car has it's original spare wire wheel located in the trunk which of note has its all original wood trunk lining and the spare wheel compartment is all in remarkably intact and all original unspoilt condition.

This is a rare opportunity to own a completely rust free example of an obviously always garaged and virtually completely stock 1973 Jaguar XKE V12 Series III Roadster with its original matching #'s engine and 4 speed manual transmission with power steering and air conditioning and leather seats in very fine condition throughout with low original miles!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
