Car to be at auction 6/12
www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm

Auction description:
1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III V-12 Roadster
Chassis No. UE1S24965
OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
• A stellar example from the final production year
• Just one registered owner and approximately 6,300 miles from new
• Stunning "triple black" livery and fully equipped

This final-year Jaguar E-Type Series III Convertible is likely one of the best original examples today. With just one registered owner, a Michigan doctor, and a mere 6,300 original miles from new, it is striking in "triple black" and well-equipped with factory air conditioning, a four-speed gearbox, chrome wire wheels, and a tasteful conversion to European-specification bumpers. Displayed in a Jaguar dealer showroom since 1995, it remains absolutely original, with the exception of a single exterior refinish completed by Largo, Florida's Predator Performance as part of a comprehensive, concours-level freshening. Now offered in superior condition and fully equipped, this superlative example is proudly offered for the enjoyment of another caretaker.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
