1974 E-Type V-12 Roadster UE1S25150
Wire wheels, air conditioning, auto, red with black interior. Runs very strong, good tight feel, some smoke on cold startup. Also smokes a bit on hard acceleration. Car has sat and wasn't driven for some time before I got it. I have put only about 50 miles on it. The engine probably would benefit with some miles put on it. It shows about 6,600 miles on the odo (probably 106,600). The interior is original and in good shape. The carpet may be new. Leather is still pliable, no cracks in dash. The head rests are missing. The top is in good condition and vinyl as original. The rear rubber bumpers have been removed and are missing. It looks better without them. Chrome is all good old chrome. Tires are very good with wire wheels in nice condition. The sills have been replaced and done well, but the seam in the bulk heads was left rather than lead filled - it has been nicely finished and if one didn't know they would think it was how it is supposed to be. The floors may also have been replaced, it is hard to tell, but they are in excellent condition. The car was originally British Racing Green, therefore, the frame rails, firewall and spare well are painted black. The underside of bonnet is red. The paint is very good with the exception of a few cracks near the left side of the boot lid opening. It does not have the original jack, but has a scissor jack. It does have the knock-off tool for the wheels. The air conditioning works and blows cold, the transmission shifts well, the gauges, lights and wipers work. The car has a nice feel to it when driven. Has a Nevada title. Came from Reno, Nevada.

Sellers description:
This matching numbers 1974 Jaguar e-type came to me from one of the officers of the North Georgia Jaguar Club. During his ownership he did an excellent job at both maintaining and documenting the car. The V12 Jaguars are superb cars once they have been sorted out. Also, they are very fast! I also own a 1963 series 1 e-type and must say this car is both quicker and more fun to drive.
Unfortunately for Jaguar, USA regulations during the early 1970's dictated 5 MPH impact bumpers and a series of emission control equipment. These cars were never designed with those requirements in mind and to meet regulations compromises had to be made. In 1974 that meant very ugly rubber bumpers and complex emission add-ons that both reduced engine power and increased the running temperature. In Europe the e-type continued to be made with its original small bumpers and without the emission add-ons. This car has been returned to the specifications its designers intended. Gone are the ugly bumpers and the complexity of the emission system.
This car looks and drives excellent! The paint is very nice with straight paints and a deep luster. There are a few paint stress cracks near the gas and trunk lids. Personally I would leave them as is. Wire wheels are as new and so are the tires. Interior and canvas soft top were replaced a few years ago and are still in excellent condition. The car has air conditioner which works well. Clock works.
The car has automatic transmission which I really like on the V12 e-type. I generally prefer manual shift cars but for the V12 e-type I make an exception. I have owned several manual shift V12 e-type and find the automatics better cars to drive. Don't believe me .... just drive this e-type and you will be convinced.
Included is the spare tire, jack in its bag, boot cover (for when the soft top is down), owner's manual, service manual and receipts. Aldo included is the original steering wheel which i will be glad to install if your prefer it over the wood steering wheel. In any case you will get both steering wheels.
