This 1974 Jaguar E-Type is a Series III roadster that is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and finished in brown over tan leather. Equipment includes a black convertible top, chrome wire wheels, and a RetroSound stereo. The car is said to have spent time in New York, Switzerland, and Arizona, where it was reportedly stored from 2000 until its acquisition by the seller in September 2020. Subsequent service included replacement of the tires, battery, fuel tank and pump, ignition switch wiring, clutch master cylinder, and coolant hoses in addition to rebuilding the carburetors, flushing the brake fluid, and changing the engine oil and coolant. This Series III E-Type is offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, an owner’s manual, a service record, a top boot, a period radio, two removed tires, wheel removal tools, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Sable and fitted with a black convertible top as well as a matching boot. A tear in the top is shown. Exterior details include US-spec bumper guards, hood louvers, central exhaust outlets, and V12 badging.

Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels wear 205/70 Tornel Classic whitewall tires that were reportedly mounted under current ownership. The car rides on independent front and rear suspension and features power-assisted power steering. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, with the rears located inboard near the differential. A brake fluid flush was performed in September 2020.

The cockpit features tan leather seat upholstery along with darker door panels and carpets. Damage is on the driver’s backrest. Amenities include a heater/defroster, a locking glovebox, an analog clock, and a RetroSound stereo. The ignition switch wiring was repaired in 2020.

A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a Smiths 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, with the actual total unknown. Gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are arrayed across the center stack.

The 5.3-liter V12 is equipped with a Crane Cams Fireball XR700 ignition module as well as four Zenith carburetors that were rebuilt in September 2020. Additional work performed during the same service included replacement of the fuel tank and pump, battery, and spark plugs in addition to oil and coolant changes.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The clutch master cylinder was also replaced in September 2020. The seller notes several areas of corrosion on the undercarriage.

A Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, an owner’s manual, an invoice from the 2020 service, a Blaupunkt radio, a license plate holder, two removed tires, and wheel removal tools are included in the sale.
