    DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!

THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS.
Finished in rich burgundy with original black leather
interior, this V-12 cat was built to run.
Always garaged and professionally maintained, this
elegant vehicle has spent much of its life in museums such as
    the Sarasota Cars of Yesterday.
The current owner of over seven years is reluctantly parting with his baby for health reasons. (bad knees)
The Jag is rust free and 85% original. All panels fit together perfectly and there are no cracks in the dash or seats. Complete with factory A/C.
The engine has recently been detailed. All hoses, plugs, wires and valve cover gaskets have been replaced during '2004. The carburetors were rebuilt last year and a new starter and fuel pump replaced the original equipment along with new hubs.
The rear end housing has never been removed since it came from the factory; however the oil plug is removed and checked on a regular schedule. The name and phone number of the professional mechanic who has taken care of this car for the last seven years is available on request. The Jag is in Sarasota, Florida. You are encouraged to come take a look. The car sells it self.

Car has a buy it now price of $30,000 for 20 days. Car now said to be in Memphis, Tennessee. 34k miles.

    Sellers description:
    1974 Jaguar XKE
    12cyl 3 carb, Automatic
    Red with black interior.

This XKE was bought buy a fellow who was sick with cancer, it was running and driving a couple years ago.
Needless to say, he has passed on and now the widow would like to move it on to the next owner.

I'm handling the sale and have thoroughly inspected the car and know most of it's flaws.
And, have taken pictures of all the blemishes.

First off, as I stated it was running and driving a couple years ago, but now it won't start. We took it to a local shop Arlington Imports to get it going. Pulled all the plugs sprayed the cylinders with lubricant,
We can get the engine to rotate, but we were not able to get it to turn on its own.

The brakes are frozen, because of sitting. That's why it's on the casters.

It's a real straight car, it would be a great driver. Just needs a mechanic first.
    A great investment.
