This car currently has a brand new correct black canvas convertible top...but also included is a new correct canvas Tan top still in the carton.
This Jaguar has Factory air-conditioning and gorgeous wire wheels with a brand new set of top of the line Michelin tires.
All the gauges work correctly.
When restored, the engine was highly detailed as is evident in the photos.
The body is spectacular as is the recent BRG paint.
Chrome & trim magnificent!
All new correct Leather interior & Wilton Wool carpeting.
This cars drives fabulous and would be a proud & welcomed addition to anyones collection.
The owner of the museum & this car has requested that we help him sell a few of the cars from his Museum as he likes to change his cars every so often.
This is an investment that won't evaporate or disappear like so many things have the last year....this is a Platinum investment rare car that is now 35 years old...and still appreciating in value.
I would rate this car as a very, very nice #2+ condition car.
Although this car really needs nothing at this time...should you ever need parts...they are easily and readily available.

The car is finished in British Racing Green over Biscuit leather, and features include a black soft top, top boot, a removable hardtop as well as four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, 15” knock-off wire wheels, dual mirrors, quadruple carburetors, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. Acquired by the current owner in 2021, this Series III E-Type is now offered on dealer consignment with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, owner’s manuals, a repair manual, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in British Racing Green and equipped with a black soft top, top boot, and removable hardtop. Uncovered headlights, a forward-hinged louvered hood, dual remote mirrors, and a power antenna are also equipped.
Wire-spoke 15″ wheels are secured with knock-off spinners and mounted with 205/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. The Series III E-Type was factory equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Biscuit leather as well as color-coordinated door panels. Interior amenities include a British Leyland-branded AM/FM radio, wind-up windows, a locking glovebox, and air conditioning.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. AutoMeter readouts for water temperature are mounted to the left of the steering wheel, while an analog clock and gauges for voltage, water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 45k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory equipped with quadruple Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 241 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
A Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace Certificate lists colors, identification numbers, and a dispatch date of July 11, 1974. Manufacturer’s literature is also included in the sale.
