This 1967 Jaguar XKE is a Series I roadster was built on March 24, 1967 and dispatched to Jaguar Cars of New York the following month. Power comes from a 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a black soft top, a cabin heater, and triple SU side-draft carburetors. The body and frame were refinished, the interior was refreshed, the engine was resealed, and the brakes and suspension were overhauled during a refurbishment completed in 2013 while under prior ownership, and following the selling dealer’s recent acquisition an aluminum radiator was installed, the oil was changed, and new Dayton wire wheels with Vredestein tires were installed. This Series I XKE roadster is now offered with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate, historical registration cards, service records, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

Delivered new in British Racing Green, the body was refinished during the refurbishment completed by Old English Cars of Mills River, North Carolina. Features include a vented hood, recessed headlights, taillights mounted over the rear bumpers, and split chrome bumpers with guards.

Chrome 15” Dayton wire wheels were sourced by the selling dealer from Moss Motors and wear Vredestein Sprint Classic radial tires. A full-size spare fitted with an older Pirelli tire is stored in the trunk. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with the rear units situated inboard, and the seller notes the system was overhauled during the refurbishment along with overhauls of the front and rear independent suspension.

Brown leather upholstery and trim are fitted in place of the factory beige trim and accompanied by matching treatments on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Toggle switches line the center of the dashboard, and additional equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a cabin heater, and an adjustable rear view mirror.

Smiths instrumentation consists a 160-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, along with auxiliary gauges housed within the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles.

The twin-cam 4.2L inline-six features a trio of SU carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque. An oil change and general inspection were completed in preparation for the sale along with the installation of an aluminum radiator.

Engine-block stamping 7E128487-9 matches the cylinder-head stamping on the chassis identification plate and the included Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission.

The Jaguar Heritage Trust Production Record Trace certificate lists the factory colors and identification numbers, along with the build date and distribution through Jaguar Cars of New York.
