Jaguar E-type Serie 1 4.2 coupe - 1966 - LHD This is an original California black number plate car. Very straight bodywork no rust perfect base for a concours restoration. This is the most wanted E-type with covered headlights, alternator. This model benefitted considerably from completely different seats, while a combined armrest and glovebox was provided between the seats. With the more torquey 4.2 engine came a new much improved all-synchromesh gearbox, and improved braking added to the car's appeal. The brake system was completely changed with the adoption of different discs and calipers. We can restore this car for you in the collour combination you like. Originaly this car was in golden sand, a very rare and nice collour.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
