This E-Type Series 1.5 FHC is a July 1968 car, with matching numbers and original 44,000 miles.
Originally German LHD euro axle tri-carb spec, it was converted to RHD after importation approx 25 years ago, but is otherwise in superb original condition. 99% of the interior trim and exterior chrome are the cars' originals. The vendor advised that the seats are perfect, door cards are original and perfect, panel fit is superb, mechanically the car runs and sounds superbly. It has Avon tyres to original spec, even the carpets inc footwells are the cars' originals in OK but factory condition.
It was sold in Germany by renowned dealer Peter Lindner in august 1968 and had a documented 3 German owners. The current owner is the 3rd UK owner and has owned the car for around 2 1/2 years, and all 3 UK owners coincidentally do and did work for Jaguar Cars, the car has never been offered publicly for sale in the UK. The original German papers are present, along with a buff logbook called 'Kraftfahrzeugbrief' fully stamped and documenting the above, plus the history of the car in the UK.
Upon importation the mileage in KM was verified in writing by the selling dealer and subsequently converted into reading the accurate miles. During its 25 years in the UK it has covered approx 4,000 miles.
A file of MOTs, tax discs, receipts etc comes with the car, as does the Heritage certificate confirming its original and correct colour scheme and numbers.
Guide Price: £70,000 to £85,000
