this car was originally black, but was resprayed red on the outside only, door jams are still black. Pictures of car from early 70's show the car black. Car runs but could use tune-up as car as sat for many years in warehouse. Clutch also needs work. This is a 4.2 liter with triple carbs and 4 speed transmission. There is a small crease over the right rear wheel. This is a very solid car and a excellent one to restore.

Current bid $3,550 reserve not met, 7 bids 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
This car has a lot going for it. It is not a total beauty at present but it is a great driving car with a very solid body, drivetrain and chassis. Some "upgrades" as well. Listing for a friend I may need to double check some of the details of the mods, my memory may be a bit off. This car has been tweaked to be a superior runner with improved serviceability.
The body is not a rusted and patched mess, pretty darn solid. There is some rust in one of the smaller bulkheads on the passenger side front. There is a picture of this, I'm sorry I don't know the proper term most likely. But, mostly this is a very hard to find clean body. Someone did though, not sure when or why, fill the seems on the bonnet fenders. They seem to have used steel (welded?) for a magnet does not lose tension. Hard to figure but there is no sign of rust from underneath either.
All of the body gaps are VERY good. The driver door hinge pin is worn but when shut fits really well. See photos.
All glass is good.
Trim is a mixed bag of good and fair.
The drivetrain is solid and strong. Not entirely stock, but all stock parts removed are still with the car. Currently this car has a custom "one off" single four barrel carb setup. It is well dialed in really does work well. The brakes have been upgraded to larger pot Wilwoods in front with NOS original fronts now on back. Firm pedal with strong stopping power. All lines were replaced with high nickel steel versions that are corrosion resistant, superior to original. Rebuilt master as well.
The rear suspension is newly rebuilt, receipts available.
The exhaust is a custom double dual with crossover setup. I think I said that right. Dual pipes with a balance/crossover pipe that has dual outlets in front of each rear wheel. It sounds great and breathes deep. AND by exiting in front of the rear wheels if you ever need to do any rear brake or rear suspension work the fricken stock pipes won't be in your way! You purists I know are all cringing but it is a sweet set up.
Interior is not all installed but is included. Seats are tired, carpet is too, but most everything else is OK for an enthusiast's driver. There are also various access panels now to expedite some otherwise PITA service issues. But, given the rear suspension and brakes are all fresh that should not be a worry for quite some time.
I was told the car is complete except one trim piece on the driver's door. The entire original induction, brakes, and I think exhaust is included.
