This particular car hasn't been tagged for about 25 years and is a 2 owner vehicle. As you can see in the pictures this is a restoration car and it's rust and neglect issues have to be addressed before it's ready to drive again. The leather upholstery was replaced before it was taken out of service, but the car really needs a total restoration.

Overall the car is still intact. But, part of the floor under the passenger seat is gone. The doors need work. And there are various spots of rust ranging from surface to missing sheet metal. The pictures tell the story. A good solid driving car was parked and through years of neglect, condition problems have started and allowed to worsen.

Factory AC, but compressor has been removed and I may or may not be able to locate it before auction's finish.

This is the first E-Type Jaguar I've owned and when compared to other vintage production vehicles you can see why the Museum of Modern Art picked this model from many others to display as the form and function vehicle that the others hoped to emulate.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
