Engine and gearbox number appear to be correct for this car, bu the body # (4R7930)appears to be over a month or more earlier in the production or 700 Vin #s earlier. Could the owner contact me about this please. It appears that the vin # or the body # is incorrect.

This is a complete restoration of a superb numbers matching series 2, 4.2 liter E type Jaguar convertible roadster with Jaguar's Heritage Trust Certificate # 11388.
All restoration was done with meticulous care including outstanding black paint & perfect fitting red interior. All chrome redone with gloss, top & frame fitting exactly.
Engine bay, front suspension, cooling system, fittings & other mechanical components are correct with proper fit & function as originally designed. Underneath components including frame, exhaust system, suspension, steering ect. are properly done & as new exceptionally well.
A truly fine example of a vintage Jaquar XKE. This vehicle is located in sunny Camden, South Carolina 29020.

did you read the above old posts?
usually an owner submits an incorrect vin and it is never caught, until the real car tries to register his car.
and the vin could have been hijacked and placed on another car.

His information even includes my Fairplay Georgia address as previous “current city”. What does one do in a case like this? I see that the car was posted for sale. Any way to find out who originally submitted this information?
