This is a 1969 XKE Coupe (NOT a 2+2). This car has been in the southwest all of its life and is totally rust free, guarantee it. The color is Midnight Blue with Dark Blue interior. The paint is new, I stripped it to bare metal, pulled all windows , all rubber, and all chrome. I shot it with Dupont Polyurathane, then sanded and buffed it. It came out gorgeous. The body is very straight and all seams are good. The interior is all original and in unbelievable condition. the leather is not perfect, but very nice. It has a wood Nardi wheel. Original Wilton Wool carpet is in very good condition, it has small wear spot on the drivers side. All door panels, sill covers, kick panels, headliner are very nice. The dash is perfect, all gauges and switches work. Notice the hatch area, all the rubber runners are still intact. The spare tire well still shines like new. The wire wheels look new, no rust and no peeling. The chrome has a couple of new pieces but is mostly original and some have light scratches. Just did a valve job and while apart, I polished out all the aluminum intakes and miscellaneous parts. It has a gold head and has 9.1 compression.I did put a gear drive starter on which is awesome. Second gear synchro scrapes a little until you get used to it. This is not a totally restored car, this is a very nice survivor with new paint and some nice detailing, which makes a beautiful car. I promise you will like it.
