Ebay item 2/28/11
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Jaguar-XKE-2-Door-Coupe-/200581494346
Opening bid $10,000, no reserve, no bids yet 6 days left in auction.

Sellers description:
This is a low milage 2 door coupe. It is not the 2+2. It is a dark blue car with a dark blue interior with steel wheels. It was originally treated with Zeabart rustproofing. I think that is why the body is so well preserved. There is a dent in the LH drivers door and forward of the drivers door there is a large dent from the check arm on the door being broken alowing the door to swing open to far. There is also some damage on the LH front fender There is also a dent on the front of the bonnet where something hit the front bumper. The crome bead on the RH headlight is also bad. There is a small dent in the bonnet over the RH wheel. The rear hatch prop rod was broken but I have another that goes with the car. The only thing that it is missing is the jack, tools, and the a-post chrome from the RH side. This is a compleat unmolested car that was a one owner car until the owners niece transfered it to her name in order to sell it to me. Her uncle had pased away leaving her the car. I believe the car was put up in the mid 1970's. It has no hydrolics and the engine is stuck from sitting. The car can be inspected in the S.E. corner of Virgina

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
