Engine block changed around 1986-7. Purchased from Ron Beaty at Forward Engineering Ltd.

After further research, Jaguar Heritage have confirmed that the original engine was changed at the Jaguar factory for another E type engine and not purchased from Ron Beaty as I had originally thought. Unfortunately, records at Jaguar heritage do not confirm the exact date of the change.
