This car has a S2 VIN and S1 motor number. No explanation given. Its clear this car has been heavily modified. No way to tell how that VIN and engine number came to be associated with this car without more information.

Description in photos is from an appraiser's evaluation in 6/05.

This car is not a 1964. The body according to the vin is a Aug-Sept 1968 which makes it a 1969 model. The 3.8 ltr engine according to the vin was made in 1964. The centre console is not series 1 or series 2 or ???
The door handles are series 2. The centre dash is late 63 or early 64. The part that red flags this car is there is no vin plate on the car.
I wouldn't buy this car...even with your money.

Sellers description:
This car has had, some Major Restoration and...some High-Performance improvements made; This work was done in 2006, by the previous owner (Canada). A 5-speed transmission,electric Cooling fan, with an Aluminum Radiator,also a light-weighted fiberglass Bonnet. I am not sure about the car's history, but the motor has, JAGUAR (5-2-64) stamped in raised letters, on the motor. Late model SEATS were ADDED also.

There are no scratches, dents, or rust, on PAINT, CHROME or WIRE WHEELS. Car LOOKS GREAT! RUNS GREAT! DRIVE Even GREATER! I believe that I am the third owner.The mileage was 27,545 miles when I bought the car...that was almost 5 years ago. It has 27,561 miles now. I also Had additional work done: ALL ORIGINAL factory parts were used.

From January to March, of 2016 the following new parts were replaced; Water Pump, Harmonic Balance controller,Seats and carpet was removed to repair small rust places in the rear, floor-pan. Then both rear stabilizing Bars were replaced, a new Battery and the 3-SU carbs were tuned! ALL WORK WAS DONE BY Mechanics that work and restore BRITISH Cars. Lubrication and all fluids has been topped up. Tires look NEW, but they have been on the car a long time. IF there ARE ANY Conditions that need attention, I have not been made aware of them. THIS CAR WILL TURN HEADS WHEN YOU PASS THEM BY...AND WILL BE OUT OF SIGHT, BEFORE THEY CAN READ YOUR TAGS!
