Does this car have an aluminum crossover over the cam covers toward the rear of the engine?

This 1969 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that is powered by a numbers-matching 4.2L inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Finished in white over a black interior, the car was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership and was recently acquired by the selling dealer. Equipment includes a black soft top, air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and a chrome luggage rack. This Series II roadster is now offered by the selling dealer with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, factory manuals, a tool kit, and a clean Maryland title.
Finished from the factory in Cream, the body was reportedly repainted some time ago. This example is also equipped with a chrome luggage rack on the rear decklid as well as European-style fender-mounted wing mirrors. Close-up photos of the paint, lenses, and trim are provided in the gallery below.
Chrome 15″ knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A replacement black soft top was installed under previous ownership.
The interior has been reupholstered in black from its original dark blue leather. Amenities include air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and a black padded dash.
A wood-rimmed factory steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges monitoring battery voltage, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel level. The factory switch panel is highlighted in the gallery, and the five-digit odometer shows 64k miles.
The 4.2-liter DOHC inline-six features twin Stromberg carburetors and was factory-rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The selling dealer reports that an oil change was performed in March 2020.
Engine stamping 7R1376-9 matches the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate.
Aftermarket coilover springs are installed on the independent rear suspension.
The Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate shows a build date of August 27, 1968, and lists factory colors as well as the chassis, engine, body, and gearbox numbers.
