Starting with a straight body, high quality paint was used in the process and today the panel fit is at or above factory standards. All chrome trim was replated or replaced as necessary and the chrome wire wheels sparkle in the sunlight. With an eye towards authenticity, the floor covering and canvas top follow all the factory specs including the use of the proper leathers for the seats. Many drivers prefer the functionality of the Series II and this example shows why, with troublefree shifting, ample performance and a few more creature comforts that make motoring a pleasure. Overall, this is a splendid example of a gentleman's sports car.
