Lot 438 1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II Roadster

Manufactured in 1969 this Series 2 Roadster is finished in British Racing Green with a biscuit leather interior and is in very good condition. It was restored in 2004 by the E-Type Centre in Warwickshire; during restoration it was examined & checked by Ken Jenkins, a technical advisor for the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club. The restoration included re-chroming, body re-spray & Waxoyl treatment. Included in the receipts supplied with the car it details that an engine rebuild was completed only 9000 miles ago.
New parts include wheels, tyres, brakes, fuel tank, radiator, hood, battery, polyurethane rear sub-frame mounts, Kevlar water-hoses, quartz headlights and a fuel pump with electronic conversion. The vendor is about to fit a Lumenition electronic ignition.
Supplied with the car is a workshop manual, 2 owner's handbooks and parts catalogues. The car is described as being in very good condition and since the vendor bought the car it has been kept in a garage in an Air Chamber which removes moisture and keeps it dry - the chamber costs £500 and is included in the sale.
This matching numbers car comes with a Heritage certificate, V5 document, old MoT test certificates dating back to 2002 and a valid certificate until August 2007.
