Ebay item 4/6/19

www.ebay.com/itm/1973-Jaguar-E-Type/303118522844

Current bid:$7,600 reserve not met 5 bids 6 days left in auction seller harryetype, 100k miles, car now said to be in Newbury Park, California

Seller's description:

Offered for sale is this perfect V12 E-type restoration project with many many new parts along with many plated and powder coated parts. Originally finished in Primrose with the lovely color combination of beige leather upholstery.

The body is simply exceptional, original and shows no signs of accident damage or rust. The underbody is completely rust free. This body will be very straight forward to prepare and paint in any desired color. The better the body is before restoration the better the end result. .The panel alignment is excellent as you would expect from a un molested body such as this.

The car is complete with either its original parts or new parts. Lots of plating and powder coating has already been undertaken at a large expense. The car is supplied with many new parts in excess of $15,000. There are too many parts to list but here are a few examples:

Complete new interior kit finished in Biscuit.

New stainless steel exhaust system.

New dash top.

New A/C Compressor.

New cooling hoses and water pump.

Front suspension re plated and rebuilt with new bushes.

Some new chrome parts and more.

If you are looking for an ideal Jaguar E-type S3 V12 Roadster to restore, this is absolutely the best one available. So many so called restored cars on the market for much more money would require much more investment to come close to this car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
