RARE E-Type V-12 JAGUAR XKE w/ only 27,000 Original Miles! ALL documented & receipts, this car is amazing... I am selling for a friend who does not use internet & kids in HS/College bound so mom says they need to make room now! He discovered car last year in a local family estate sale. Car had been in heated garage storage many years. He paid to have it taken directly to top local British Specialist (Crown Hill Automotive/British Specialty)who flushed tanks & carbs, etc to get it running properly after long term storage. He has only put on a few miles since owning this classic car. Included are all new hoses he ordered, some he has replaced, original tire kits & books & receipts, etc. I am presently on vacation and will be looking at this auction every few days or so to answer questions. I own a new XKR, had had Lotus, MGC, Jag 3.8S and several other Jags & British cars and can honestly say I have never seen such a vintage Jag like this.. rust free and in immaculate condition.. FOLLOWING IS WHAT OWNER WROTE ABOUT CAR: Car got 1st Place in Canadian Councorse Show in 1979 with a 93.3 score. Rims were trued about same time and have not stressed them since. Paint is acrylic lacquer. Spare tyre & spoked wheel are factory condition. Cars starts easy every time and runs smooth and clean.. and very strong V-12. Brakes in good working order but will need attention in future. Rest of hoses I have not changed are OK but should change over all of them (I am providing set) in next few years. PRIMROSE YELLOW with Tan Leather interior in beautiful condition, no cracks or fading, all glass excellent.. SPECS: V-12 Rated at 272HP, 105" wheelbase. A very, very straight & beautiful classic Jag...nicest I have ever seen for this vintage. I do love this car and it is a real head turner wherever I go !!
