Delivered new in September 1961 to Richie's of Glasgow (Jaguar agents). After several owners purchased by Mike Wilkinson (now runs a Jaguar E-type restoration company in Yorkshire). Then sold in 1974 to Peter Lowe of south London. Restoration from 1976 to 1982, including most external body panels, total interior retrim and fully reconditioned suspension and engine. Engine unit full balanced with lightened flywheel and fitted with modified big valve cylinder including special camshafts supplied by Forward Engineering. Resold later that year (1982) to Eberhard Thiesen of Hamburg , Germany. The same year it was converted to lefthand drive.
