There is some reference to the car as being Cream rather than white.

Auction description:
Ascot Racecourse May 27th 2023
Lot 183
1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster Flat Floor
Registration 368 ELC Chassis Number 850327R2876 Engine Number R33699 Estimate £90,000 - £120,000
Genuine UK supplied right hand drive flat floor example
Matching numbers example in its original colour combination
Current ownership for 27 years
Manufactured in 1961, chassis 850327 was delivered to its first owner Mr. J Langman of Gloucestershire in January 1962. Presented in its original specification of Old English White coachwork over a contrasting red interior and black hood, this E-Type is a matching numbers example. Treated to a comprehensive restoration in 1990 by Fulbridge Motor Company including extensive work to the body, and later in 1995 the engine was extensively rebuilt by Thoroughbred Car Services Ltd. More recently, this Jaguar was the subject of a respray in its original colour of Old English White coachwork. As such the paintwork presents in very good condition throughout with very few blemishes to report as does the interior. The E-Type is also fitted with an uprated rear differential for more user-friendly road use, although the original is offered with the car. The vendor reports that this E-Type drives as it should being used on the occasional weekend, and on our viewing, it fired up with ease and sounded superb!
Accompanying this very special flat floor is a sizeable history file including the Jaguar vehicle identification sheet, confirming its matching numbers status and original specification. Many old MoT test certificates, old sales invoices, service records, many invoices detailing the multiple restorations, photographs of the car during the current vendors ownership, and the current V5C registration document. A 3.8 litre ‘flat floor’ E-Type is a rare find and one as good as this, with its comprehensive history, is sure to appeal to collectors and investors alike.
