This car was offered for sale by R. G. Wilkins in the January '81 issue of Ejag magazine. The location given was Florida, USA. The ad read:

Looking for my old vehicle.

My brother and I restored and serviced Jags in the early 70,s at our shop in Shalimar Florida "P&M Sports Cars" We had many mentions in the old E-Jag magazine.

I have the original ID plate on the car above. It was the second of three I owned. I wished I remembered the car number of my first XKE. It was a 61 Gold head with the later gearbox. Sold it to a guy in Fort Walton Beach, Fla in the 70,s.

Looking to buy a driver that doesn't need too much work, even though I remember every nut and bolt on these cars.

Thanks

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
