Sellers comment:
Jaguar is in a partial state of restoration. Body needs driver’s side door replaced or repaired (lower ¼ of door rusted away), convertible top and a rear plastic window. Engine is completely disassembled but clean, needs to be rebored, six new piston assemblies, three carburetors, plus hoses, wiring etc. Possible starter motor, water pump, filter, etc. Transmission has been cleaned but needs one cable and has updated radiator. Inside needs driver’s seat, also, five new tires, chrome wire wheels need work and needs gas tank. There are approximately $2,000 + worth of parts stored inside the car that were bought as replacement parts. Jaguar was run into a snow bank in 1968 causing some minor damage and has not been run since. Lot of possibilities. Seller can’t do the work and can’t find anyone to finish the job. Have about $18,000 tied up in vehicle

Vehicle Condition
Jaguar was run into a snow bank in 1968 causing some minor damage and has not been run since. Naturally there are some rust spots.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
