Current bid $5,436 reserve not met, 2 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1963 E-Type 3.8L tri carb series 1 Jaguar. This car is actually an older restoration which has just received a new paint job and brand new Dayton wire wheels as well as new tires. It has had the carbs and hydraulics re-built.This car runs and drives excellent!
This vehicle has been lovingly passed down, and still has plenty of life left in it. We are unsure of the actual mileage of this vehicle. It appears that the previous owner of this vehicle was a non-smoker. To the best of our dealers' knowledge, there has never been any repaired collision damage. Vehicle does not show any signs of collision damage. We looked all over and found no door dings, obviously this vehicle is one of those vehicles you always see parked deep in the parking lots. The original paint still shines because it apears to have been garaged. This vehicle's transmission shifts like it just left the factory. The engine in this vehicle runs like a top. Electrical systems are in perfect working order. Vehicles with no defects like this one are hard to find. The exterior shines like it just came off the showroom floor. There is an extra clean interior on this vehicle, looks like new. The tires look new.

I was an owner of this car and restored it back in the mid 80's.
It was shown twice by me and my freind both in Potomac, Md. and at the 1986 Newport Jaguar Festival. (Won Best in class (Class 5) in Newport.
The car is very close to my heart and I'd love to locate any info and history on it since it was in my care. Anyone know the best way to go about this? Thanks!

I was thinking about the car. Now a year later. I contacted Cooper and Chris told me that they sold and shipped the car to Italy.
Oh well......... :(

Hello Mr. William Miller,
I bought "your" Jaguar E-type SI 3,8 Coupé chassis 885865 from a customer in Italy. This E-type still looks superb.
If interested, just contact me. OK?
Best regards from Belgium,
