Sellers description:
1964 Jaguar E Type Coupe. Car no. 889218, Body no. V6528, Engine no. 3304-8, Gearbox no. EB11456JS. This is a true time capsule. Car was bought new at the factory by a U.S. airforce pilot. Then delivered to New York where it was kept in an aircraft hanger under cover and driven only when he was in town. Car was then sold to the the current owner in 1968 who was his close friend and in his fighter squandran during the korean war. Once again only sparingly driven but always maintained. After retiring from the airforce and moving here to Potomac, maryland. The car has always been gararged and is in amazing original condition. Vehicle has only 25000 documented original kilometers. about 18000 miles. All the original books, manuals, warranty cards, original registrations since new are with the car and are in as new condition, The spare tire is original and never been out of the car. When I opened the jack kit and tool roll the owner stated that was the first time they had ever been opened. They are all also as new. Car runs and drives superbly. Everything functions properly, even the radio. The chrome work is still excellent and there is not one rust issue anywhere. batterry box is perfect etc. if you are looking for a true unrestored original car that has everything it came with when new look no further. I have been in this business over 20 years and I was amazed when he opened the gararge and just became more amazed the more I looked and the more documents I saw. every book, manual, warranty card, seat belt manual, radio uasge manual, original 1964 registration and many more documents. Only reason the car is for sale is he cannot get in and out of it anymore.

S1 Coupe
An incredible find, with just 15,500 miles and two owners from new! A stunningly superb and original late 3.8 coupe in gunmetal with a sumptuous tan interior. Examples such as this are nigh impossible to find and this is the ultimate! We simply don't see such unmolested originality in such good condition and it is a pleasure to still see the body number crayoned on various parts, including inside the bonnet, from when it was first built. The leather trim is entirely original and as new, and the history wallet, handbooks and toolkit and totally complete and untouched. Unlike most other original and solid USA cars this car does not require any degree of restoration and it really is a unique opportunity. It will, of course, still undergo our fanatical pre sales preparation work and cavity wax injection etc.
£ 120000
Completely original, right down to new crossplys!
APPRECIATE THE DIFFERENCE; do not confuse our pricing with regular E-Types for sale throughout the marketplace. Even the best of those are simply the starting point compared to buying from Eagle. Our price includes a fanatically comprehensive and fully detailed analysis and report, followed by subsequent rectification of all evident faults, however minor, all corrected precisely, thoroughly, and without compromise. It is not unusual for us to dedicate in excess of 200 hours expert preparation and thousands of pounds worth of the highest quality parts on even the very best E Types we have acquired in order to fulfil our standards and, of course, your expectations. Furthermore, we include our extremely conscientious annual, 3 year and 5 year services, in conjunction with highly objective road tests, drawing on 25 years of E Type experience, and concluding with our thorough anti corrosion cavity wax injection process, before final signing off. This uniquely offers total peace of mind to simply go and enjoy your new, and very special, Jaguar E type.

This is the actual E-Type Jaguar on the cover, featured, and on the poster inside of The March 2009 edition of Classic and Sportscar magazine - and you can read why on our news page:
Most Beautiful Car of All Time?
The Jaguar E-Type was, of course, amongst the top contenders for 'Most beautiful car of all time' as voted by a panel of the worlds most famous automotive designers and stylists.
Classic and Sportscar magazine gathered opinions from a range of legendary automotive designers including Giorgetto Giugiaro, Leonardo Fioravanti (Pininfarina) and Marcello Gandini (Bertone) for the March 2009 edition of Classic & Sportscar magazine.
Predictably, the Jaguar E-Type featured well and we were pleased to heve supplied the photographic model, a super original unrestored Series 1 3.8 FHC, which is currently here on our stock list for sale.
Perhaps less predictably in our opinion, the Citroen DS was first, with many designers recognising just how avant garde and innovative it was when introduced.
Classic and Sportscar inserted a double side poster into the edition featuring this very E-Type and a Lamborghini Muira on the reverse, making the magazine an essential purchase for an enthusiast of either.

Lord Norman Foster, the most prolific builder of landmark office buildings in the world, drops in to Eagle.
Lord Foster chose our most original and lowest mileage coupe and is now enjoying seeing it sympathetically improved and re-commissioned for use today.
As an incredibly corrosion free and lightly used example the work has consisted of thoughtful authentic refinishing and mechanical refreshment to ensure both sharp and satisfactory presentation and rewarding and reliable use. Some discreet improvements will be included to enhance its ability to serve the purpose. The interior seen above is original, wonderfully mellowed, and still presentable and servicable.
Lord Foster's worldwide 'back catalogue' is quite incredible and includes such household names as 'Londons 'Gherkin' (30 St Mary Axe), London City Hall, The McLaren Technology centre and the HSBC building in Hong Kong to name just a few - and the list of buildings proposed and under construction is as staggeringly impressive as those already constructed.
The entourage in his latest visit to Eagle included an Italian media team busy gathering a story.
