Ebay item 4/22/08
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-Srs-III-Rstr-1973-Jaguar-Series-III-Roadst ...
Opening bid $60,000, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $68,000. 47k miles.
Sellers description:
This is truly the nicest Series III Roadster in the world. I know it is mine but very objectively, it is! I had this in a frame off restoration for over a year and a half with no expense spared. This restoration was performed 100 miles ago and last year. I have just driven it to shows. The body went through a complete body-off restoration from The Last Detail in North Chicago. The last Detail is a well known retoration shop with a specialty in E-type Jags. The interior of this car has been completely redone along with the top. It was performed by Ogden Interiors, Jag specialist. No expense was spared here. The interior is BRAND NEW and done to original specs. The undercarriage is as nice as the body. It was also completely powdercoated and sprayed to NEW CAR standards. Again, the top is new and the boot for the convertable top is new. The engine has had a complete overhaul by Golz Motors in Deerfield, Il who are 40yrs in the business of restoring E-type engines/transmissions. They performed an $9,000 service replacing all gaskets and a completely new muffler system. There is nothing...NOTHING not restored on this car. I have all documentation and it is sitting in my collection at my home.
