According to its accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate, this original right-hand drive E-Type was completed on 16th February 1966 and left the factory finished in dark blue with light blue leather interior, it was delivered new via Henlys, London. The car was restored by the previous owner, a Mr Bennett, with numerous parts invoices on file between 2013 and 2015.

The current vendor has owned the car since 2016 but lives abroad so it has seen little use since the restoration. Also on file are numerous bills, the original and continuation logbooks, and old/current V5/V5C documents recording the ownership history from new to the present day. It should be noted that the V5C incorrectly records the chassis and engine number prefixes as 'YE'.
