This 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series I Fixed Head Coupe is a very original, garage-kept example that has remained with just two owners from new, making it an exceptional candidate for a professional rotisserie restoration. The Jaguar is currently disassembled, having been taken off the road by its previous longtime owner as part of a planned restoration. Before work was halted, numerous components were rebuilt, refurbished, or replaced, including the cylinder head, hydraulic system, SU carburetors, exhaust headers, and rear suspension. The E-Type is accompanied by an extensive collection of parts, including both its original painted wheels and a restored set of chrome wire wheels, along with detailed records and receipts documenting years of careful ownership and restoration planning.
Classic Showcase acquired this E-Type as the foundation for a future rotisserie restoration and will offer it exclusively as a completed Show-Driver or Show-Level restoration. The color choices for the exterior and interior remain open to the purchaser, but we would otherwise lean toward a Jaguar Dark Blue over a Biscuit leather interior combination, or an Opalescent Maroon finish. If you are seeking an E-Type restored your way with colors and options of your choosing, please contact us as soon as possible.
