We are delighted to offer this 1966 E Type Series 1 2+2 Coupe, finished in its original Opalescent Dark Green with Suede Green leather trim. Supplied new by Henlys London on 21 July 1966, this UK home market car retains its original engine and comes to us from long term local ownership. Thoughtfully improved over the years, it now benefits from the desirable four speed all synchromesh manual gearbox conversion together with a range of upgrades designed to enhance reliability and driving enjoyment whilst preserving the character of this iconic Jaguar.

The car was professionally repainted and the bumpers rechromed in 2015, and it has covered only 1,500 miles since. More expenditure includes almost £8,000 of maintenance work carried out by CMC in Shropshire, ensuring the car remains in excellent mechanical order. On the road the 4.2 litre six cylinder engine performs strongly and is complimented by a smooth manual gearbox, making this a rewarding and usable classic. An honest, well maintained and beautifully presented example.
