    The book "Fifty Years Of A Design Icon" on page 21 has a photograph of a page of Jaguar Cars Car Record Book. That page shows 1E50271. It records the first owner as Wholesale Textile Co, Cambridge Ltd, York Terrace, Cambridge. First Registration Number: GCE 891E
