This example is a 2+2, manufactured on April 18, 1968, in Coventry, and delivered for export to Zurich, Switzerland. The car comes with a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate (certificate no. 77998) confirming its factory history. The car has been registered in France since April 10, 2002, and has been owned by its third person for the past 18 years. It has a classic car registration document.

Condition: This Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 is in good overall condition.

The bodywork is in excellent condition. The Opalescent Maroon paint is uniform and glossy, with no color variation between panels. The chrome trim is well preserved: bumpers, badges, and headlights are all in good condition.

The interior is well preserved. The beige leather upholstery is in beautiful condition, firm, and shows no significant wear on the seats or backrests. The black dashboard is well preserved, with all the original instruments: speedometer graduated to 240 km/h, clock, and period-correct round auxiliary gauges. The beige carpeting is in good condition. A period-correct radio is installed. The onboard equipment is functional.

The 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder engine starts and runs well. The 3-speed BW automatic transmission was completely rebuilt in December 2005 by ATF in Noisy-le-Grand and is therefore in excellent working order.
