This 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II Roadster is finished in silver over blue leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is now offered at no reserve as part of the War Eagles Air Museum Collection, with a clean New Mexico title in the name of the museum. The winning bid, including the BaT buyer’s fee, will be donated to the War Eagles Air Museum.
The car is finished in silver, and exterior equipment includes a black convertible top, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by safety nuts and are mounted with 185-section Avon Radial Steel tires. A jack and wheel tool are stored in the trunk. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in blue leather along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets, which are contrasted by a black dashboard. Interior appointments include air conditioning, a Philips AM/FM/SW radio, a locking glovebox, crank windows, and a heater.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline. An analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 34k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. An Optima RedTop battery is installed, and the fluids were changed in July 2026.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
