Hi, I came across this page about SGB 6G via a Google search as I used to own it in 1976 and thought I would see if it was still running !!
I have some photos of it from then (when it was metallic blue) which I would happily share with the current owner if they were interested.
Great to see it again, albeit in a different colour.

I am the current owner of SGB6G and I am trying to research its history.

I am the 5 owner. I know owner 4 and owner 3 but who owned it before?

I know it left Coventry 53 years ago and went first to Glasgow. It now resides in Kent. Along the way it has be resprayed and restored.

I would appreciate any phots/ details from previous owners.

regards

Pip

Hi Pip,

I left the comment here in 2018 hoping to find out what happened to my old E Type SGB 6G then forgot all about it. I came across the old style green log book this week while clearing out the loft so I put the chassis number into this website and saw your comment from 2021.

Assuming you still own it I would be happy for you to contact me about my time with it etc........ I bought it in late 1975 and sold it in 1976, I was the 8th owner and the log book was voided after that as there were only 8 spaces but you are correct, the first owner lived in Lanark.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
