This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is finished in red over black leather and is powered by a replacement 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and an AM/FM radio. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2024 and a replacement exhaust system was installed in 2025. This XKE roadster is now offered at no reserve with a clean New Jersey title, listing it as a 1970 model year.
The car is finished in red and was repainted in the early 2000s. Exterior equipment includes a replacement black soft top, sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, bright trim, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15″ wire wheels are secured by rounded knock-offs and are mounted with Michelin tires measuring 205/70. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The cabin features bucket seats that were reupholstered in black leather in the early 2000s along with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Interior appointments include a locking glovebox, an AM/FM radio, and a heater.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 94k miles, approximately 140 of which were added under current ownership. The selling dealer notes that some of the gauges do not work.
The replacement 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A replacement exhaust system was installed in 2025.
