Sold by Besley Heritage of King's Sutton in August 2025. Amended seller's description below.

1969 E Type Series 2 Fixed Head Coupe Eagle. A UK supplied right hand drive example finished in its original Light Blue over Dark Blue trim, just as it left the factory in July 1969. This car, chassis 1R20308, retains its original engine, body and gearbox, as confirmed by the Jaguar Heritage certificate. The car was dispatched new by Henlys, London and first registered WYB850H in Somerset. It is accompanied by full documentation from new, including the original sales invoice issued to Harry Dando on 31 July 1969, forming part of a comprehensive history file that charts ownership and maintenance over five decades.
Significantly this is the 11th E Type to receive the sought after Eagle treatment, completed in 2004 at a cost exceeding £32,000. Eagle, carried out a series of carefully considered upgrades and improvements. This included cavity wax protection and a raft of mechanical and cosmetic upgrades to elevate the car to their high standards, all of which are documented in the history file. The Eagle supplied manual and invoice are in the history file. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition, being last serviced 8 months ago, with minimal use since. A copy of the Jaguar Heritage certificate confirms its provenance, original specification and matching numbers throughout.
This is a highly original, low owner car, just 3 owners from new and has been in the hands of the current owner for over a decade. It is accompanied by a substantial history file that documents its life from new, with the original dealer documents, service history and details of the Eagle conversion. It is rare to find such an original car with the benefit of an Eagle conversion. his is a fantastic well looked after matching numbers E Type with excellent provenance, tasteful upgrades and fully documented history.
