Sellers description:
I purchased this 1971 E Type Series 11 Coupe 4.2 in 2007. It is one of the last RHD 4.2 UK cars - it is not a 2 + 2 model. The car has only covered 1,535 miles in the past 5 years. The Series 11 is probably the best driving E Type with much improved brakes, cooling and a user friendly 4 synchro gearbox. The Coupe was the subject of a major rebuild in 1992 with a speedo reading of 90,900. The body is very sound with no rust. The engine was rebuilt in 2007. Fantastic value for money. GBP24,999

I have owned this car since 2012. It's had plenty of use and been to Spain and France on lengthy trips. Engine, gearbox and axle have all been rebuilt, as have brakes and suspension. It's a but scruffy when you get up close, but it drives beautifully. Longest trip was 600 miles in one day!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
